Hi @zarhock

wirh the last update, it know should be possible to use Stadia to play games in Google Chrome browser using Dolby 5.1 sound - if the game supports it.

Does it not work for you?

Hi @Tobonaut, thanks for the answer. It does not work for me on Chrome in macOS, and I've been able to watch 5.1 movies from my macOS when plugged to my AVR. It works if I use Chrome on a Windows partition through Bootcamp.

Did anyone get 5.1 sound on a Mac in the Chrome Browser to work so far with Stadia? I have connected my Mac to a Yamaha AVR which can process 8 channel PCM but Stadia plays only on the 2 front speakers. Stadia does show 5.1 as „on“ and the AVR indicates a multi channel signal. Other web sites can play 5.1 sound from the same chrome browser on all 6 speakers. Thanks.
