Since the very begining I have supossed that I was running destiny 2 all the time at 1080p because this is my setup on stadia. Recently I installed the stadia enhanced extension on chrome and there is a huge diference between what it was suposse to be 1080p (what in fact was 720p) and really 1080p.
The problem is that with stadia enhanced extension at 1080p destiny 2 can't run properly using a 100/100Mbps connection, there is a lag between 0.5 and 1 seconds which make the game absolutely unplayable
Has anyone had this issue before?
hey @Banken
It also depends on which codec you use vp9 or h264 Do you have some data about your device on which you are running Stadia?

Hi @Banken,
I believe I know what you are talking about. When I first installed the stadia enchanced extension (third party extension, not from google themselves) I had to force h265 codec to have any game playable for me without a weird delay between inputs and what I am seeing.
My suggestion is try forcing H264 codec in the stadia enchanced extension settings

I forgot to mention my internet is 75/75 and I normally push 85/85 but my laptop is 8 years old as of October. It is worth trying out and seeing if using h264 codec helps out your game play.
As @defischerrockt has mentioned what codec you should use is dependent on what the device you are using is capable of. In my case, I need to use h264 while is a friend's of mine's case their computer can handle vp9
thanks for your suggestion but not vp9 neither h264 works properly.
My computer is around 5-6 years old but it haven't got dedicated graphic card but an APU (CPU+GPU integrated on the same chipset). It works for youtube, to watch movies and so but it definetily can't handle stadia at 1080p
Thanks for your help anyway ![]()
