Doesnt look good for Stadia ![]()
From what I've seen, most well known titles will still be multiplatform. Perhaps some future work may go exclusive but I think they'll be shooting themselves in the foot if they block all those extra sales, considering having every game behind gamepass means hardly any sales at all.
Overall it could be a good thing. Bethesda are renowned for releasing bug-ridden glitchy games. Perhaps having MS kicking them up the butt might lead to better quality games on release, too.

Microsoft makes a big Deal.
IT will push xbox, game pass and xcloud.
Stadia offers indie games ![]()
Who will have the better future?
Everyone keeps defending Stadia every time I see this comment made about indie games. Why continue to lie about the obvious? Google needs to actually take Stadia seriously instead of treating it like a side project. Stadia isn't just another project Google can kill off and not piss off a whole lot of people who put a lot of money into this ecosystem.
The longer Google takes to show they actually want to be serious about Stadia, the sooner people will commit to other platforms for the upcoming fall game launches like CP2077 and etc. (I'm aware it's coming out on Stadia but CP2077 isn't some holy grail.)
I love the idea of Stadia, but they're not making the moves they need to in order to secure it's future as a platform and not another project that Google will just kill off.
I don't think ESO or the other Bethesda games will have a big impact so far. Matt Firor confirmed as well for ESO at least on Twitter today, that they still try to keep the game on all platforms.
At the end it's all money for the company as well, so why should they drop the access on a specific platform?
But let's see, I can't foresee the future but for the moment it doesn't look too bad.
At the end they will put it for free in the game pass. Why should Fans buy it on stadia?
Amazing move from Microsoft.
Google should learn.
Great move for Microsoft.
I would not worry too much about how this will affect Stadia at the moment.
Current games will continue on as normal with support across all platforms, ESO has confirmed this.
As of future games. Any games currently in development will still release on the platforms they were destined for. Contracts would have been signed etc.
I was looking forward to seeing more Bethesda titles on Stadia, such as the Fallout series and other TES games.
TES Legends would have been fun to play on Stadia.
I think the biggest disadvantage Stadia has is the game library size and variety. I know it takes time and they've been working hard, but Xbox has so much consumer loyalty and history in the gaming industry that Google doesn't, and this I feel they'll always have the advantage when it comes to bringing more content to their platforms. It'll take a lot for Stadia to catch up, and I only hope it won't be too late. I've invested a lot on this platform.
Microsoft also bought Minecraft many years ago and it is still getting updates everywhere, though I wish it would release here on Stadia. They have stated they will keep all games the same and I. The future do it on a case by case basis.
