When I open any game it has a green and pinkish colour on screen. if I move the mouse while playing the steam world games it goes away for a brief second then comes back. if I pause any game it stops for a brief second then back to green screen. Im using a Mac Mini Late 2012 running new OS X Catilina.
I just turned off the graphics accelerator in the chrome settings and all is right with the world all games working no green screen awesome!!!!
Is your older Mac, mac mini, macbook pro showing a pink/green screen when doing video playback from youtube or playing games at full screen?
Does the pink green screen goes away when you move your mouse?
SAVE YOUR MONEY! Here's your FIX:
1) Open Chrome
2) Click on the 3 vertical dots on the very top right of your screen
3) Click on "Settings"
4) Ignore the menu on the left,
and proceed to scroll all the way down until there is no more options left,
you will see an option that says "advanced"
5) Click on "Advanced" and more options will become available.
6) Look under "SYSTEM"
7) Turn Off "Use Hardware Accelerator when available"
Select "Yes" to relaunch chrome.
This should solve any pink/green screen on Full Screen video playback.
Hi @THEDUDE247
that sounds like an graphic driver / processing issue. What Chrome version do you use? Does your Mac supports hardware acceleration?
Just a guess but you could try to toggle your game resolution (to High or default) in the Stadia app. Maybe this could help.
See the bottom of the support page on how to change your game resolution.
the games run and i can play just the green screen is the problem ive try anew hdmi cable played in incognito tryed the stadia extention im up to date as of chrome app version.and have changed the settings in the stadia app.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
I tried 2 different monitors and 5 HDMI cables and the green screen would not go away (and it was only present while playing Stadia). Turning off hardware acceleration needs to be mandatory everyone not using a Chromecast.
Ya it's was frustrating to say the least glad its helping others![]()
