change language Doom Eternal

Sorry for my english.....

I'm playing Doom Eternal in italian language (my account google italian language).... now when play english language...

I try new game and is italian language

Why? it's possibile to change language?

Cosa intendi? Hai provato a impostare la lingua inglese in una partita, ma è apparso in italiano?

Penso che la lingua sia impostata in base alla lingua scelta sul tuo account Google su myaccount.google.com in personalizzazione.

Può essere che questo causi un problema in giochi con l'opzione multilingua. Hai provato con l'estensione stadia enhanced a forzare la lingua inglese?

I use a notebook and chrome and up to chapter 9 (almost at the end) Italian language to 10 English language.

My google account is Italian, I tried to insert other languages and put Italian back but nothing.

How does stadia stadia enhanced work? Is it paid? Can you tell me the procedure to use?

ps A staff assistant told me to write to the Doom producer, I wrote to him but clearly and rightly told me to contact Stadia...

Hi,

same issue for me while playing Doom Eternal (Ancient Gods pt 1 add on): all of a sudden, the game language switched from Italian to English.

I didn't change any settings within the app or in Chromecast and now it seems there's no way to switch back to Italian which is very annoying...

Other games are playing in Italian, so I don't know if it's a kind o bug with Doom Eternal only

I have the same problem. Suddenly Doom Eternal switched language from Polish to English. All other games are in Polish.

For my experiance from Elder Scroll Online, I can say that to change the language in Stadia, you have to go to your google account, find personalization, there you have to delete all the languages you have, and set them again. So you will be able to move the language order between 1.2.3.4. etc.

Set the order as you want as preference, the language you want, then the language you prefere if the first one isnt avaible

Stadia automatically change the game language by the order of preferency you have in languages in Google account

All my devices and Google account are set to Polish. All other games are in Polish, but not Doom Eternal.

It was in my language until yesterday.

Reading other user's comment it's quite clear the problem is related to Doom Eternal only

Not sure if this should be reported to Stadia or Bethesda (or both)

Hello, I'm facing the same issue. Just a most general question.... How we can file a ticket for this ? To be honest i don't understand why in the UI there isn't a button ask support....

As I'm reading this is  probably a BUG...

thanks, i opened a ticket too, to be honest since that the issue is only with doom i think that contanct the developer is the better way to solve the issue.

I recommend you to reach both, developer supports and Stadia on this matter. @Gb1974 the extension on Browser is free but is not officially developed by Google.

Hi,

I got in touch with Stadia Support via Twitter and explained the issue.

At first they said to contact @BethesdaSupport but in the end they agreed to open a ticket for further investigation on the case.

They replied very quickly so I suggest you all to engage them via Twitter @GoogleStadia

please find below the reply I got today from Stadia Support:

We've forwarded your case to our team who communicates with the Doom Eternal publisher. While we have no time frame to give, rest assured we're actively working with our partner publishers. We appreciate your patience.

Not sure what to expect... I also opened a ticket with Bethesda Support with no results: at first they said to change the language in "Settings", then they said to "reinstall" the software!!! Totally clueless!!!! They even didn't know how Stadia works!!!

Please keep on sending your request to Stadia Support in order to get a quick fix

I opened a ticket on basheda support site and they told me that I have to contact stadia team... it's a mess ... I will open a ticket on google support.

Update:

Google support (that by the way is acepting chat only in english at this time....) answered me that since the issue is for this particular game only I have to contact again the developer....(OMG).

I updated the basheda ticket I think that something is not working in the support line.

To be honest I expected more from both Stadia Support and Basheda .

Just seems that they are not working as unique team.

But to be honest stadia is not a hosting service like geforce now so I expected more commitment on this kind of issue, just because is a "service" and not a hosting one...

Ad oggi in data 31/05/2021 il problema continua a persistere non è una cosa positiva, ho acquistato io gioco per giocarci in italiano come servizio di assistenza google è molto scadente danno risposte evasive non sono di nessun supporto

Unfortunately, I tried again right now and the issue is back...

Yesterday the language was correctly set as Italian, now is still in English

I updated my ticket on basheda.net and finally they told me that developement opened a bug on this issue and published this article :

I have the same problem. If I ask to Stacia support they tell me "ask to Bethesda":

De acuerdo, te comento, que sea o no posible resolver el problema lo desconocemos porque está fuera de nuestro alcance, y trasladar la incidencia como te he indicado antes no, no es posible hacerlo. En respuesta a tu consulta te recomendamos contactar de nuevo con el desarrollador por ser un ajsute dentro del juego, ¿hay algo más en lo que te pueda ayudar?
