Hey all,
Got a very weird issue.
Recently bought a new MacBook Pro and wanted to play Stadia through it with my Xbox pad, but the controller isn't working in games.
Stadia recognises it as connected, but the button layout is basically thinking its still a mouse. the triggers are almost movement and RB is like menu. Can't turn my character in any game or the gun fire is constant etc.
Anyone else experienced this and know a fix?
The Xbox controller is not recognized by the system, I had the same problem, you need to install a third party open source software then connect your controller via usb

Xbox one controllers are supported with this plugin
Hi Tranceforma! Give the suggestion above a shot and let us know if it was effective.
This doesn't seem to be a Stadia issue, but a Mac issue. Did you ever solve it, I have the same thing. Mac thinks LB is right-click.
im also having the same problem. i thought it was my controller so i went out and bought a new. been working fine but now, isnt working at all. it connects and recongize the controller but the button and joysticks arent working. the RB is start and the only 2 buttons that works fine is B for back and A for select. xbox controller by the way. STADIA FIX IT!!!!!!!!
My Xbox One Controller works fine on Stadia on MacOS. Not really helpful I know, but no issues here. Perhaps try an Xbox One controller instead.
already bought 2 controllers, new in the past month. if i knew were going to be issues i would've bought a stadia but i didnt because i didnt want to wait for a few days. no store around me cares stadia controllers.
