This is a qoute from around or before June 13th from Bugbear PR:
'We are committed to supporting Wreckfest on all existing platforms, including Stadia. As a matter of fact, we are currently in the process of finalizing the next title update for the Stadia. This update will not only address some technical issues that we have become aware since the previous update but also roll out the new tournament events, bringing the Stadia version on par with other platforms'
Well, where is it?? There hasnt been any tournaments in almost 3 months. Thats a major component in that game. Save up your fame to buy new cars, upgrades, and more cool stuff. And why would Stadia promote that game specifically in the big ol Summer Trials Extravaganza in this quote : "We’ve just launched 48 new gameplay trials to help you decide which game you want to play next, including Wreckfest, Cake Bash, and One Hand Clapping." Yeah bro, come play this glitchy game thats missing a super fun feature and constantly freezes at at 99% while loading, and boots you with random Ping timeouts. Meanwhile some kid is playing a flawless looking, no lag, processor handling updated Wreckfest on his Switch. Yep, Wreckfest can be played on Switch now. So whens that update coming guys? Prime days over at Amazon are coming up and im hearing good things about that Luna controller. I spend money here, I buy games, Pro sub, a couple controllers, chromecasts etc. The Ghost Recon incident almost made me stop my subscription. Alls I want to know is an update really coming and when....Thank you @everyone @anyone @you
Hey @ChargerFan559
I am a HUGE fan of Wreckfest and am disappointed to see the update not roll out on Stadia. Sadly, this is beyond Stadia's control and it's the developer's job to roll their update on the Stadia platform. The same is true with the Ghost Recon debacle.
My best advice is to reach out to Bugbear on any social media platform you can to let them know the Stadia version is still missing that core feature on Stadia and to please update it. I'll do the same, starting with their Twitter account.
Hope to see you in Wreckfest sometime!
Thank you @MrVacca I will definitely try hitting them up on social. Hopefully they come through on their statement and it wasn't just Bugbears PR team blowing smoke. Meanwhile I will be in a deathmatch taking out my aggression.
Yet another user making excuses for Google. If you purchase a game on GOOGLE’s platform it is Google’s responsibility to make sure updates and DLCs are included when we are paying the same price. How do you to become a Platinum Stadia Guide? Because you all give the exact same answers. It’s very suspicious.
Hey @MrVacca
Was just wondering if you received an answer from Bugbear or THQNordic on the Wreckfest updates. I dusted off my old twitter account and tweeted both of them and never got a response. I even sent emails to whoever I could find an address for regarding the updates and not a single response. I figured support or the PR teams would send something but nope. Its getting to be beyond frustrating. Hardly anyone in multiplayer anymore because who wants to play an out of date game missing a major feature . I have 65 different cars and been saving fame for the 100000 Rocket RX. What a waste of time.
An update to whatever this is:
So I wrote a pretty detailed email asking whats the deal with only Stadia not getting the last 2 updates to the Wreckfest Tournaments. Yep we have been left out of the last 2. Anyways I emailed every relevant department or individual that I could an email address for at THQ Nordic and BUGBEAR. Developers, Support, Marketing and PR and I have yet to receive a single reply from anyone. How **bleep**ing hard is it to give an answer on this? Either 1. Just throw me a date on when you plan to update the game on Stadia. 2 You're not going to update because why throw money away on a "supposed sinking ship". Im so sick of wasting my money on games and spending more on DLC and in game purchases on this platform because it seems like some developers and even Google with all the money their holding could throw a little more to the marketing dept. and promote Stadia a little more to the masses and get some more players on this platform. I kinda quit social media about a year and half otherwise I would have hit them up on social for answers.
I saw a promotion for Chromebook (Google Product) and it was saying how great it is with gaming, etc. A perfect spot to talk up Stadia (Google product) but NO! It promoted NVIDIA, CandyCrush...this is from the ad.
