It's the 24th of November, Star Wars would finally drop on Stadia today. I see nothing?
Don't get me wrong, I can wait a few hours. I'm a big Star Wars fan and did not play JFO before because when it got released a year ago I was hoping for the love of all things saint that it would be on Stadia. And thankfully: it was announced. I couldn't be more happier with that news.
So I didn't buy it before and I have been literally waiting and waiting to finally experience the story. From what I understand they made JFO canon to the Star Wars story, so really, I'm really excited to finally play it.
But now it's the 24th and there is no game.
Looking at Google this probably has to do because they don't want Non-US people to get things sooner: I think every published game came out at 18:00 over here, when it's 09:00 over there. COME ON, that means on launch day I only have like 2-4 hours to play, while Americans can go whole day. I don't wanna sound like a brat, but it's just a bit unfair. Why oh why is there this kind of segmentation in Google's way of going? I never experienced this with Playstation (Sony = Japanese) or Microsoft (which is American for christ sake).
Please Google work on this. When Cyberpunk 2077 is finally out "we" want to play it on Dec 10, maybe whole day (for some people), not just 3 hours because you didn't think about timezones...
Who can explain why Google doesn't know how timezones work?
I Don't think that is Google fault for release time, but is the developer that decide the availability, for example assassin's creed Valhalla were available at different time based on different timezones
Yeah, @HatDroid is right. If you look on the app the pre-orders show what time they will be available (your local time) so CyberPunk and Immortals Feynx Rising have different start times for example (obviously different dates too, but you get my point about the time). I think the developers decide....
hmm yes, Humankind, Hitman, Fynix and CP all have different times. My bad maybe.
Just anxious lol.
I've been checking on the hour, every hour. So far no go. I am so ready for this!
