Where do we report that games are not working?

Jump to Best Response

How and where can we report that a game is not working? GRID is broken.

@steveb I'd report issues like that through the Send feedback option in the Stadia app.

@codesplice thanks - I did try that but haven't had any response to feedback (I've sent lots, both constructive and quite annoyed). I got a support ticket opened in the end. They rejected my refund request for now but I have escalated to the developer as the game is clearly broken.

@steveb Yeah, those in-app feedback mechanisms are typically one-way - but they do go directly to the technical team so that they can investigate the problem instead of bouncing around through front-line support.

I'm at work so I can't check right now but I spent about two hours playing GRID last night without any problems.

Whaaaat? How is this possible? We are all playing the exact same game in the same hardware. Funny how complicated technology really is.

Anyway I got the same issue, for days. Haven't been able to get past 1 race. But I have found that the bug only applies after a second or two after race. So pressing A in extreme rapid succesion right after finish line has a small chance of skipping the game crash. And the faster your keep tapping A, the higher the odds of actually skipping the bug that freezes and crashes the game.

After a week of playing GRID without any problems (except for struggling with apexing certain corners!), I started running into this issue last night. Didn't seem to matter which race series I was running, the game would hang and eventually crash on the results screen.

I'll give @Greenhill's frantic A-mashing technique a try tonight to see if I can limp along until CM pushes the fix later this week!

This looks to be a game-specific bug and your best course of action is to add your voice to this thread on the codemasters forum so that they can get a fix pushed to Stadia.  You're not the only person who has been reporting this problem.

Thanks everyone for information. I have a support ticket open and Google have raised one internally with Codemasters.

Also lol.

I have done the same with codemasters. And they have raised one internally with google.

Im sure it will get fixed at some point. I hope. They all got those golden hands programmers out there. Who when they accidentally touch the keyboard, all bugs dissapear instantly.

@Greenhill Codemasters have confirmed the bug is on their side and that devs are working on an emergency fix https://forums.codemasters.com/topic/44268-grid-on-stadia-feedback-thread-for-stadia-players/
