When will The Claw be available for purchase?

Jump to Best Response
I remember reading on the AMA that the Claw would not be immediately available for purchase. For those of you who can see the Black Friday stuff within the app, is there any mention of it? Would be great to have it available to give/receive as a Christmas gift.

@Psycho17 From the placeholder on Google Store, it only says 'Coming Soon'

https://store.google.com/product/power_support_holder_clip

I already have access to the Stadia app, but there's no mention of the Claw there. In fact, I don't see any specific black friday deals/discounts other than the discounts we get for being Pro member (for selected game)

Stadia Guides are not employed by Google. Opinions are my own.

There is a US Google Store site already for the Google Claw (see here: https://store.google.com/us/product/power_support_holder_clip), but it's "coming soon" still with no release-date yet. Good to have in mind though: The claw might do some scratches to your controller when putting it off/on. Guess for EU though we need to wait even longer for the Claw.

Given that "over here" in the EU we're just as much Founders, I really do hope we're not going to be treated as second class for Stadia the same as we are for many other Google products (e.g. can't buy a Pixel in Belgium - you know, the country with the EU capital Brussels).

No "coming soon" claw on my Google store yet...

I'm waiting too. I'm always a day late and a dollar short missed it on the manufacturers website and on Google's store.

It's crazy to me that Google knows exactly how many sales they've had, the company they had make the claw was already selling them, and somehow they still wind up out of stock in the Google store. The people who are handling the supply chain for Stadia don't seem to have a clue at all.

@Xevioso I'm not sure they have had any in stock to sell out of. I think (maybe) someone flipped a flag in expectation of imminent availability and got bit by holiday season delays - at least that's my theory...

@Deleted User it seems some people purchased it. Before it actually went on sale it was just there in the store labeled coming soon. Now it actually says out of stock. Either way, how it's being handled in the Google store is crazy, lol. By now you're think they'd have people in place trying to avoid these little failures with Stadia. It's not a huge deal, but they're failing on a lot of the little things.
