Why is the quality still this bad when I activate the 4k Option all games look horrible and when I set stadia to 1080p it looks like 720p upscaled to 1080p stay away from stadia it isn't worth a penny have you seen the different between destiny 2 in 1080p from stadia and Geforce Now stadia is a shame on stadia
It's a decision on the developers side which graphics options are selected and in some cases, they opt to have higher quality lighting/textures/anti-aliasing etc over having a higher resolution.
It's odd that you're seeing such low quality as Stadia genuinely looks quite impressive for me, for example here's a side-by-side of Cyberpunk comparing it running on my PC and Stadia at 4K and it's not blurry at all.
I might be able to help troubleshoot for you, but in order to do so, could you please provide some additional information?

The captures from stadia are from the local machine, not the image streamed to the user, why are you pretending otherwise, shocking that and a guide as well, pretty lame you are doing that.
That is correct, screenshots are not taken on your end device but on the server blades and thus they are not effected by stream compression. Hence, a screenshot comparision only compares the natively rendered picture and cannot reflect your experience at home.
Nonetheless, please keep in mind that Stadia guides are no Google employees but only users that try to help others as good as they can.
@User5060 - Actually, both of those screenshots are from my PC. On the Stadia screenshot, you'll see the Stadia Enhanced overlay is still showing because it's a local screenshot from a video I made all captured using OBS, which means that this is the exact video I received including any stream compression.
Perfect, sorry for my misinterpretation.
No worries. I understand the confusion ![]()
That being said, @DerSaSa, if you're getting really bad quality video, there's a chance that there might be some troubleshooting steps we can do to help. If you can answer the questions I originally posed, I am more than happy to try to help!
