As of yet i have not seen any games that warrants having another controller at home, released or being released
Multiplayer and we'll maybe multiple people want to play stadia at the same time with a controller? I mean it all comes down to use case.
It's also needed to play through the chromecast at this time. Not sure if there are plans to change this but it's needed to do so.
@Nightcrow You can play local co-op with Samurai Showdown and Mortal Kombat.
Firs of all thanks all for the answers.
Probably i just havent found the games that suits my families gamestyle then
(Play both sports and fighter games but mostly alone)
But lacking some Co-Op
@Nightcrow
If you get a second account, you can play Rise of the Tomb Raider (this is the second game in the trilogy), Final Fantasy XV, Attack on Titan: Final Battle 2, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Red Dead Redemption 2 and obviously Destiny 2 in co-op.
Borderlands 3 is coming and that should support split-screen.
Football Manager 2020
Just Dance 2020
Mortal Kombat 11
NBA 2K20
Trials Rising
Samurai Showdown also but the store describes it as (Single Player, 2-10 players Online Multiplayer).
All offer local multiplayer.
So, if you want to play any of these titles in a 2 player local mode via CCU then there is your incentive to purchase a second controller. If you don't intend to play any of these titles then there isn't really a compelling reason to purchase a second controller...
Unless of course you are trying to keep the balance of power with your kids and they will both want to have their own controller.
