I am currently using my phone charger, samsung. But does not seem to hold a charge well.
I actually figured it out. I hooked up the USB port to my computer and I plugged the controller in and it charged up and came back to life thank God. And I got my info from a person on Reddit in a stadia community so smart. @Moosemaninc
I am glad you have got things sorted and it is back up and running. Happy gaming.
As always, charge any Li-Ion-Battery slowly with at best not power consumption, means: Switch it off and use the original charger as it is a relatively weak one.
Hi @Honesty21
I would always re charge my controller after use with the controller switched off and with the charger and plug that comes with the controller.
I have found that the controller takes slightly longer with my Samsung charger but the controller holds its charge.

My controller did not come with a charger. @Moosemaninc
Hi @Honesty21
The controller should have come with a cable in the box but not a plug. I believe it’s Usb to USB C so you can use a standard plug from a mobile phone. If the cable did not arrive then let stadia support know via the app or google store customer services. However any android mobile phone cable using USB C will work.
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to say thanks for the participation on this topic. However, since it is older and we've been able to come to a reasonable conclusion, we are going to go ahead and lock it. If anyone has any follow up questions or concerns, please feel free to create a new post. We'd be more than happy to help.
