What if I don't pick a pro selection for December?

what exactly do you mean? If there are free games to claim as a Stadia Pro member, I would just claim them if I am you, because they are free and you don't lose anything by claiming them.

"Saving a selection" is not possible, because the offer to claim some games for free might run out one day, so not every game will be claimable forever as a Stadia Pro member. Example: If Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition runs out after let's say a month, you can't claim it anymore for free and you would need to buy it to add it to your collection.

If you mean discounts: Of course these are changing too from time to time and from game to game.

Wheter or not you are satisfied with the current selection of Stadia Pro free games is not really relevant. You can claim them and keep them as long as you have a Stadia Pro subscribtion. New free games will be added come January and hopefully something will be added that is more to your tastes then.

If you're talking about the discounts; these come and go every week or so i think so you can't save them for a later moment.

I'd go ahead and claim the pro game unless you haven't done so already. Even if you don't like them they are free and it'd be a loss not to claim them to your account.

It's not a rain check system, don't claim the games for the month then you don't get any games. Your membership will run out at the same time, it's not strictly tied to the free games. Having Pro membership also entitles you to playing 4k.
