Since USB is not currently functional on the controller, what headsets are people currently using for voicechat and game sound?
Are there any lag to Bluetooth headphones?
I am using my "Corsair HS60" plugged into the StadiaController.
It's length of the wire until the jack is pretty perfect for that and the sound is good enough.
I have a cheap o pc head set I got off Amazon a year or two ago. I can now plug in the usb - via usb-c adaptor and the audio cable into the controller and get my set to light up! Sound quality is actually better then I get through the xbox one x.
@LordVivec How does this work? I tried the same thing and it didn't seem to work for me. I have a wireless headset and plugged the transmitter into the controller which an adapter (USBC to USBA) but the headset still didn't work. Maybe I'll try again tonight.
The only headsets I have that are capable of being plugged into the 3.5mm port are a Corsair Void Pro which I never otherwise use, and a Razer Tiamat 7.1 both on both of them with CC volume set to maximum are way too quiet to be used practically right now.
Can't wait for USB headset support... I can't see how I'll get along without it.
@MuricanGamer Is that a wired connection? Trying to figure out how to use my Arctis 7 wirelessly. It has a bluetooth transmitter or something that connects via usba. On the Ps4 I would just plug the transmitter into the USB port. The headset works fine on the PC but no idea how this is going to work on the chromecast without a wire.
can it connect to your TV wirelessly? I know some Tv's have bluetooth. If not than you may have to settle for a wired connection. and Yes, the HyperX Cloud is a wired connection.
