View Button on Xbox One Controller not working

Hello, I've been trying to use an Xbox One Controller on my Pixel 3 and mostly it works flawlessly. However the one snag is that the View button (where the traditional Select button is) doesn't work. In some games (Destiny 2) it's rather critical. Anything I can do to get that button to do?

I'm glad I'm not the only one having this problem. Outside of the app this button acts like the Android "back" button. Destiny 2 is practically unplayable without being able to use this button. I'm not sure if Google needs to modify the mapping of this button in the Stadia app. It works fine I'm the Xbox apps. I'm using the Elite Controller 2 for reference.

Totally! That Stadia controller isn't "bad" but it's no Elite Series 2! I would assume this is just a simple mapping change on Google / Stadia's part as you said.

From the help page below I can see there's some limitations for using Xbox controllers, but only Windows was stated. But I can see how it will be an issue on Android as well

Stadia-compatible controllers and screens

At this point, make sure to send feedback to Google through the Stadia app. The more people reporting it's an issue, the better chance it become a priority to fix.

Stadia Guides are not employed by Google. Opinions are my own.

@Ivan, I have submitted feedback both through the app and on the page of the link you sent me. Do you know if they ever respond directly to feedback? Part of me is concerned that they will simply update that page to say the View button is not supported similar to how they say the Home button is not supported on Windows.

Not defending Google, because this launch was kind of messy. But the reality is they don't even have all the functionality of the Stadia controller working yet, so issues with 3rd party controllers should probably be expected. I do agree with @Ivan you guys should make sure you report these issues in the app. Google, and particularly the developers, want to make money, and they know not everybody is going to buy the Stadia hardware. So if they know about these issues, they will try to fix them in order to keep the games and the platform selling.
