Okay, I am aware that generally you can't change the email on an account, but I'm desperate for some kind of fix. Here's the deal. I'm trans and the email for the gmail of the account this is under is my former legal name. I absolutely hate using it.
If I can't change the email/account my stadia is attached to, can I transfer the founder status and games to another account? I can change usernames around without issues. I'm happy to pay a transfer fee.
Or if you can't "transfer" can you just *give* another account the founder status and the games and then delete this one? I'm happy to pay a non-transfer-fee... ![]()
Pretty please? Anything?
@JHarper Unfortunately account transfer and founder status transfer is not allowed for Stadia. You can always try to contact Stadia support, and explain your situation, and see if there’s anything they can do about it

Good luck!
As @Ivan said, transferring to another account is not supported. But, you could create a new gmail account with the name you prefer and add it to a Google Family, and then share all of your existing games with that new account. You won't get your Founder status, unfortunately, but at least you'll be able to use your existing games. You can also change the Stadia name for the existing gmail account, I believe. If I recall correctly, though, if your new chosen name there isn't unique, you'll still end up with a serial number attached. In short, there aren't any perfect solutions here, but there are a few things you can do that may improve your situation. Best of luck!
