Hi, any Stadia insiders out there? Can you give us an update on the hoped timeline for family sharing? I have some family members itching to use Stadia with their new controllers on their own accounts.

@everyone
Thanks. I canceled mine and my daughter's Stadia Pro subscriptions earlier, and submitted feedback like you suggested, citing the absence of Family Sharing as my reason for canceling (also the no day 1 release of Cyberpunk announced).
I do really hope they add this feature soon, as I do really enjoy Stadia. I'd like to make it my main gaming platform, but with no Family Sharing, I can't really justify it. Every console we own we just have to buy a game once to be able to both play it, and oftentimes play it together simultaneously online.
I dont feel comfortable spending my time sending feedback into a "dark box" where SUPPOSEDLY someone is reading it.
Honestly, if they don't even care to answer public posts in the forum, where their reputation is on the line, do you really think they will read feedback emails?
Those feedback messages go to a dark box and are forgotten, IMO.
@WoodyUK id leave a comment on the feedback button on the app.
There is news just not from Google Keep an eye on the tech news sites. They are seeing signs of family sharing in the apk teardowns.
Thanks for sharing, but I think this thread is asking for a statement and positioning from the stadia team, and not rumors from other sources.
Personally, for me this is not even about a missing feature anymore, but about the Stadia team ignoring its users on big issues like this with not even so much as a reply.
If the stadia team won't communicate with its users on big issues like this, then what to expect for the future other than a company that sees money first, users later?
And if Stadia needs 1 year to implement something big and important as this, then how long will it take for them to implement all the other big issues we are having? 3 years? 5 years? 10 years?
If you think about it there is probably alot going into possible family sharing down the line. Publishers have to agree to the sharing terms and they have to have the tech perfected on the backend. If Stadia would release details that weren't finalized and had to go back on a previous statement. People you be upset and why would you risk that on a new platform like this. So ya it's not here but if it was "ready" it would be announced. No matter of people getting impatient and bring in family stories about how they are leaving is going to speed up the process.
I don't think your point stands considering we already had a time frame. We are four month late on delivery, and given that Andy Doronichev himself chimed in a reddit thread to reassure people that they were striving to respect the June deadline, an update is absolutely due at this point. Any news would be welcome, anything, even a "US only feature for now" which in Europe we have started to cope with.
I hope it comes soon. With these big games coming out in a few weeks, we are going to run into problems. We can only afford 1 subscription, so we only have 1 account that has all of our household's purchased and claimed pro games. I really hope family sharing will allow us to share this account's library within the household without having to do any annoying account juggling.
Just wanted to activate it yesterday and share my games with my kids, ... and what a pro subscription for each kids, no possibility to share my games... **bleep** ?
One year now, any clear roadmap ? any link of public roadmap with release dated please ? at least we could say to ourself and to friends, you will see in two month stadia will be attractive and competitive ? Maybe waiting for luna release to push a big stadia evolution ?
How much people working on stadia at google ? just a question
Looks like it's starting to roll out now...

Nice. I renewed my sub with the news that Cyberpunk would release on Stadia day one, but this news makes me feel even better about that decision.
I just saw the article when I got home. Great to see it is out there, I don't have it yet here but hopefully I will get it in the next few days.
Did your app update today?
My Stadia mobile app didn't update yet I don't think, but through the browser in Chrome, under Settings then Family, I am now able to enable Family Sharing for all games. I tested and it is working between mine and my daughter's accounts now.
Can confirm it is HERE and WORKING!
about time! ...but better late than never!

I have already logged onto my kids' accounts and was able to play games I purchased on my account, via Family Sharing.
Thank you Google!
So not even the most commented thread in the forum, requesting a feature that was ALREADY BEING DEVELOPED deserves an answer from google?
not even “hey guys, This is already in development! Coming soon! Here some screenshots”? Is there no one in charge of marketing? John Justice? what the **bleep** is he doing all day long?
In 30+ years I have never seen a team less interested in communicating with their customers or more talented into turning even the best announcements against themselves.
