Update AC (& RDR) with 60fps!?

I hope Stadia will get the devs to do an update for ACO (and RDR) with an option 60fps (or even frameunlock) mode, soon! I'm REALLY disappointed that Stadia feels not responsible for this "Desaster". :slightly_frowning_face: would be nice, if anyone from STADIA would tell, if Stadia and the devs are working on it!?!? 60fps (1080) was reason No. 1 (for me) to buy Stadia. ... the 4k, fast loading times, no-update-thing, play-everywhere, is only bonus for me. I want to believe in the system and Google. but they need to make clear (to the devs!), that they need to implement an option for 1080/60 MINIMUM, in all their games,... if not further graphic options!:index_pointing_up: :folded_hands::video_game: I hope for an update soon!

I agree with you that I think we all hope that the games that have already been released continue to see improvements made in these areas but realistically I think we'll see more of these improvements in upcoming releases that have had Stadia taken into account from the beginning of development.

It's supposed to be a developer thing, but it's unacceptable that FFXV, for example, moves at 1080/30 with assets of basic ps4.

In RDR2 case you could choose the mode 1080/60 changing the quality of the streaming to intermediate.

I imagine developers should choose between frames or resolution but normally games have modes for PS4 pro or X1X that enable free cap fps or 4k res. Shadow and Rise of the tomb raider have them on Stadia but Metro exodus not, a bit odd if you ask me.

For me, it has been odd since the begging that the banner game for stadia Destiny 2 doesn't achieve 4k/60 xD

After listening to the pre-launch promos about how powerful the gfx are I was hoping that this would have been my ultimate play through RDR2 at 1440p 60fps (previously played on PS4 & PC). Even though it does look great I can't help but feel a little disappointed with it on Stadia. Video compression feels too high, it looks great in good lighting but venture into the Lemoyne swamps at night and it just looks awful. Gradients and fog/mist aren't handled well and don't look good. Video compression has its limits I guess and I don't think it'll ever compete with a high end PC. I've been impressed yet still disappointed.
