It's been announced for a long time now.
So what does uplay offer free games or just discounts
I'm not sure if i want to be in a subscription within another subscription and just have all these subscriptions piling up unless whatever is offered is so low and discounted that its worth.
@SecretCodeIt's kind of like xbox gamepass but for ubisoft games. You basically get access to all their games (including DLC) for a monthly sub. If you like ubisoft games it can easily fill your gaming library needs due to the variety but I imagine we aren't going to get a lot of the older titles(especially strategy kind of ones) on Stadia.

I imagine the sub will cover both PC and stadia so it may still be worth it.
Ok that is a pretty solid deal if it carries some games over that you have onto stadia
can't wait! ![]()

mh yeah although I still don't know with this "subscription within a subscription" thing, because it's pretty easy to lose the overview (Stadia Pro subscription + UPlay or whatever subscriptions).
Would be nicer or easier, if UPlay could be included into Stadia Pro or be linked to that subscription, so for example if you cancel Stadia Pro, Uplay subscription is cancelled too, otherwise I see a bit of the typical subscription problems (too many of them and you have to cancel everything before cancelling the Stadia one). A lot of effort. ![]()
Yes, subscription chain is not a good strategy. We have to wait and see when it launches how stadia and UPlay+ tie together and what they offer for pro subscribers.
Subscription chains are the new norm. People have Hulu, Netflix, HBO, etc. For the gaming end, people forget they're paying for PS Plus, just to play online, or that's how it started at least. For me personally, I see myself going with a Base Stadia + Uplay, if that becomes an option. It's a subscription world after all! Ha... Hopefully Stadia partners Uplay as I'm thinking they will.
