I hate to be this person. But the truth is out stadia is looking to be dead. I love stadia i really do but i been saying it for over a year. Stadia needs the big games the call of duty games the battlefeld games free to play mmo games stuff gamers want to play. But we never got it now with the new news out people are just going to move on at this point. I will not lie i been on shadow pc more due to how i can play any pc game at any time not matter what i have. Stadia needs that stuff it needs the games that kids also order gamers want to play. I hope things will change i hope i will be wrong but at this time i will not be buying games on it tell i see what google move is. Sorry for all the miss typing not good at spelling. I just wanted to get this out. Lets keep this nice lets just talk about this.
It certainly does seem like it may be the beginning of the end. However we can speculate all we want, it very well could be thay rather than make mediocre firdt party games, they're investing that money in bringing call of duty or fortnite over. A huge purchase like that would ease everyones minds and bring everyone who has already jumped ship back on. I'm hoping that todays TWoS will have some major news to counter yesterdays. If not, my confidence in the platform has taken a massive hit.
You are 100% right its why we all left. You can only play the same old game so much. After jumping on shadow to see i can play wow cod battlefield that was it for me. I want stadia to do well but the real thing i see is will goggle do what needs to be done. Will google go to ea say look we need this battlefield game make it happen. I have always told people if stadia had the new cod cross play that be huge. Showing people you do not need a $500 ps5 to play the next cod you can use a **bleep** cell phone that is what stadia is for.
Microsoft lost billions when it first launched the Xbox. Google has ways to go and I'm glad that they are shifting focus on improving the platform and bringing over AAA titles like Cyberpunk, Madden, Hitman, etc. rather than creating original content. I like that I can buy games and also get some free ones without much of a barrier. It's so convenient to be able to play on multiple different screens and once the app is baked in to devices like TV's, the platform should grow. They indicated 200 developers working on 400 games so I am still hopeful.
On a side note, I can eventually see apps and software that require a lot of cpu horsepower such as video editing or music editing software being streamed instead. Cloud computing is clearly the future and Stadia is in a decent position to take advantage.
When you have less than 5 aaa titles to choose from what do you expect. I thought they would have rolled out what Nvidia did linking your game accounts to their server with this recent big announcement (sadly not the case).
Yep that would be a good move do a geforce now type thing or a shadow pc type thing. Just at this time i just want to wait tell i spend mor money on it to make sure this will not die soon.
I totally agree with you
