Hello.
I have a stadia account managed by a parent and I want to stream but as soon as I click on "Youtube" in the settings of my count, a message appears saying "access to streaming is limited for you".
No matter how hard I try, I can’t find a solution.
Can you help me or just explain if it’s adjustable?
Thank you in advance.
@Shadow3 This shouldn't be a problem. Alright, this is not a Stadia issue but more on YouTube Channel.
Could you please raise a new thread in the community of YouTube here: https://support.google.com/youtube/thread/new?hl=en
Remember to provide the Channel ID, the part of the URL of your YouTube channel after https://www.youtube.com/channel/ ?
Thanks!
@Shadow3 there might be a restriction in the parental control that prevents you to stream to YouTube. Were you usually able to stream to YouTube (not through Stadia)?
Yes I’ve already published some videos but I’ve never done a live.
@Ivan Yes I’ve already published some videos but I’ve never done a live.
@Ivan can you help me ? please
@Shadow3 Sorry for the delay. I don't use account managed by parent, and I'm having trouble finding documentation that explains it. Will do more research and get back to you.
Hi @Shadow3
For live streaming, there could be restriction for the age depends on country: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2853834?hl=en
Each country age are mentioned here: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/1350409?hl=en
If you are meeting the requirements, did you verify your YouTube channel on YouTube Studio as explained here: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/171664?hl=en
@AndroiFy Normally my google account is registered a birth date of 2001 so I’m supposed to be able and even with age and account verify I can’t.
Thanks for your reply @Shadow3 !
Did you verify your YouTube channel with the phone number? Did you receive any warning or strike from YouTube?
@AndroiFy No.
@AndroiFy Yes, I am French, but I will translate what it says.
"YouTube
You cannot access YouTube features.
Live streaming on YouTube is limited for you"
It's in stadia.
Hi @Shadow3,
This is an expected message if you didn't verify your YouTube Channel. Open YouTube Stadio (https://studio.youtube.com/) > Click on Settings > Channel > Eligibility for features > both here need to be verified, otherwise, you won't be able to live-streaming on YouTube.
Please, follow the steps here: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/171664?hl=en
Hi @AndroiFy
it’s already activated.
Is it possible that it’s because I have an account managed by a parent? Because in the settings of my Google or Stadia account I don’t see any settings talking about permission to stream.
