Streaming Stadia audio directly to speakers with Chromecast built-in

Does anybody know if it is possible, or eventually will become possible, to stream the audio from Stadia directly to Chromecast built-in wireless internet speakers?

I predominantly access Stadia using my Chromecast Ultra (connected via ethernet). I have a B&O speaker with Bluetooth, AirPlay, and Chromecast Built-In connectivity.

For some reason, the Google Home app recognises the speaker as a Chromecast enabled device but cannot stream media to it. I have tried all recommended fixes, however still no sound.

I can connect to Bluetooth via the TV itself, but there is a noticeable audio lag. Especially with high pace games like Destiny 2.

Perhaps I am idealistic, but as all devices are connected to the internet (Chromecast Ultra, Stadia controller, wireless speaker), sending the data from Stadia servers directly to the three devices would be incredible and minimise the issue with audio lag.

Hello @Cl0udG4m3r

Great suggestion! Right now it is not possible to split up your stream to video and audio.
Not sure how many usecases are there for this but it sounds like you got one. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Best thing you can do is share your suggestion by using the Stadia Feedback option within the Stadia app or stadia.com

I don't know if your B&O speaker is connected to your monitor/tv somehow?
But you can also use a Stadia controller and connect a AUX cable to the controller and your B&O speaker?
Understand it is wired and defeats the whole purpose of wireless audio but maybe it is a workaround for now. :smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Thanks, @RXShorty,

I submitted my suggestion via the Stadia platform.

I have connected via a 3.5mm aux cable. However, the audio quality via the controller is meh, and there is static when connecting it to my B&O.

The static is really faint but still noticeable.

Hopefully, Google and Stadia will make their services and hardware more integrated over time.
