Based on the features that they showed in the Stadia Connect today, I have to assume that the Stream to Youtube option is imminent? They showed multiple instances of Crowd Play, and the Click to Join for multiplayer games, and they don't exactly make sense if you're not streaming the game live.
As far as I understood, Click to Play lets Stadia Pro subscribers click a link in the YouTube video description to instantly play the games they are viewing. So yes from that perspective I assume that the streamer has to play that game for the link to appear.
But I would also wait a bit as normally Google is explaining new features in articles in their helpcenter, which should explain it a bit clearer soon (how exactly this works). ![]()
I am waiting for stream capability myself. I think it will be a lot of fun and a good way to show many gamers what it looks like how it functions etc. Also of course we could be in on the ground floor streaming with a new platform that can also cross-platform play with PC and Mac. Excited!
Also waiting to be able to stream Stadia games to YouTube. But I hope there will also be better ways to broadcast on the exsisting platforms. At the monentsmonent I'm using window capture for the whole Chrome Browser,n a very nice way tbh.
P.S.: What's with this forums software? Had to write this twice as the first post got lost after needi g to log in. (We live in 2020?)
Definitely excited for youtube to come. I'd say I'll probably be here in the next month or two
