Personally, I get this move. It makes far more sense to invest in other development studios who can get more games to the platform in a timely manner instead of trying to develop a killer game of your own. It is hit or miss. The more the developers use the platform, the more they can take advantage of unique features.
I applaud the shift. But. We need numbers. How many studios, how many games to expect, what type of franchises, key partnerships, etc. If that information was included in the post, this would have gone down a different way. The features unique to Stadia can still be used and implemented by studios with decades of development experience.
So, go go go! But we need some info this time. Or you will see lots of people drop off Pro. The sooner the better.
Thanks,

Grace’s social media accounts have been shut down so I’m not holding my breath. They really need to make an announcement today.
I think its the best move available, google has proved it works now they can back other companies to make the games while they do the marketing and ads.
I do not see it. I really think this is the end for stadia. People are moving on to other stuff that has more games. I just did a post on this. I been saying it for over a year you can not have a platform with out the big games. You need the games that people want to get on to play. Like call of duty telling a kid or even a order gamer that you can play the new cod or battlefield game on the go that is huge. Cod sales mmo game sale battlefield sale.
