Steel Series Arctis 7 Repeat Post

I had posted something right around the time Stadia was released about using a Steel Series Arctis 7 headset that I use for my PC and my old PS4. Does anyone know how this might work if at all with Stadia? I don't think the headset is actually bluetooth. It has a wireless dongle that plugs into either a PC USB port or the USB port on a PS4 and when you turn the headset on it syncs to whatever the dongle is plugged into. The only way I could maybe see this working is if the steel series dongle could plug directly into the controller via a USB-A to USB-C adapter. The powering it on would sync to the controller?? Does anyone have any thoughts on this one?

Do you own a Google pixel? If you do there's a USB A to USB C adapter in the box (it was supplied to help transfer phone data from your old device). I've been using it to allow me to play on my phone without having to buy a new USB C to C cable. You could try it and see what happens. The controller wouldn't recognise it for play purposes as the adapter needs to be at the phone end for it to work. Be sure to post back once you've given it a go, in sure more people will be interested in the results as well.

Well I think I know what you're getting at here but I've already tried this solution. I've plugged the dongle into the controller with a USB-A to USC C adapter but nothing happens. I'm not sure if that's because the hardware will never be compatible or there needs to be update on Google's end for this work.
