Stattering for 1080 players and annual subscription

Jump to Best Response

Hii, There is still a lot of lag and screen  statter when I play on stadia even though I have a good connection i.e more than 400 mbps, Also, there aren’t that many games on stadia, I’m talking about AAA games like, gta 5, call of duty warzone and black ops, Fallout, like most of the great games aren’t there instead of launching indie games and small games which one can play already without stadia on their hardware stadia should launch big titles which are hard to run on casual gamers rigs, that will retain customers and there ought to be an annual subscription like for 60 dollars, this will also retain people in pro, 10 for each month is not worth it, it’s too much for what you get, thanks, I hope stadia take these into consideration

About your issue with lags/stuttering: Do you have this issue in general on Stadia or only with specific games? Did you try already to troubleshoot your experience on Stadia with this article? You can also get in contact with the Stadia support to receive help in that matter as there can be different reasons why your games are laggy/stuttering.

In regards of the games offered: Stadia is a platform where developers can offer their games on. Each game needs to be worked on to be compatible with Stadia, that's probably one of the reasons why most games are not yet on the platform, especially AAA games. Not to forget: Stadia is still relatively new as a platform which might also be a reason why some developers are still hesitating or putting Stadia plans not on top of there list yet. This must not mean though that those games are not coming at some point to the platform. Bethesda for example has already some games on Stadia, but not all of them like Fallout. So this is still a possibility to come, but I think best in that case is if you ask the developers of your favorite games if they are planning to bring their game on Stadia. I guess Stadia is also in contact with big companies to try to get their game on the platform, but that is not really something they can influence much, it's up to the developers.

So if you think Stadia Pro is not worth it at the moment, that's fine, you don't have to pay for Stadia as you can also use it without the subscription. But sure, regarding the annual subscription, I would prefer that too if it would be possible, but as there is only the monthly option for the moment, personally I am sticking to that.

Good points on getting games most machines cant handle, my PC is a relic and can run stadia games better, eso and outward even look way better on low-medium settings so play there instead.

Would love games like Apex or call of duty that my rig cant get going in a playable state at all.

Is there any specific games you have problems with, or is it everyone? My latency is comparable to running Vsync on games on my PC. The only game where I have been problem with stuttering and latency is Farcry 5.

GTA 5 is probably coming to stadia

And about Stadia having problems is some games is probably due to optimization problems. We have seen both good ports and bad ports. And remember that even PS5 run a lot of games in 30 FPS since sysreq on some games for 4k are crazy (2080 Ti isnt enough for AC: Valhalla in 60 fps).
