Hi everybody,
i have the Problem that i need to restart any Game 3–5 Times after that, the flickering is gone and i can play without any Problems….. sure every 20 Minutes or so the Stream hangs for 5 secs cause of Starlink but i can live with that:) I have this Problem on every 3 TVs (Sony, LG, Samsung)and im using Chrome Cast Ultra on every TV! On PC i have the Chrome Extension if i switch to h264 instead of VP9 i works perfect! Is there a way i can switch to h264 on Chromecast Ultra? Im connected to LAN not WLAN! On every TV Gamemode is on! I think the Problem is that Stadia check the Internet when i start the game and trying to optimize the quality but sometime it fails…. I mean i can live with that by restarting 5 Time the game but maybe someone have a suggestion;)
Thank you and happy Holidays!
Hi @F8Tarnished
Is Stadia playable on Starlink internet? Awesome!
There is no way to force the Codec, as far as I know the codec should not impact the bandwith but I could be wrong.
The thing you can do is lower the resolution within the Chromecast.
You can change Stadia to 1080p instead of 4K to see if that helps.
Ofcourse you can also set it to 720p. ![]()

It makes no difference if u change the resolution to 720p or 4K or turn HDR on.
