Any hints on if Stadia will bring on Battlefront 2, COD, Fortnite, or any other battle royale/AAA PVP games? Not hard to see that these are some of the most popular games today and from a user expansion standpoint, stadia would attract more business.
Hello @bstout777, predicting what games are coming to Stadia is hard right now. I understand that even some community managers here for Stadia were surprised on the announcement that Madden 21 was releasing for Stadia. That being said, I recommend a two pronged approach in asking for game requests.
First, send a feedback to the Stadia team using the Stadia app. Secondly, head over to the developer's website, twitter, or whatever form of community communication they are most active in the hopes to relay your desire to see their game in Stadia.
Reasoning behind this method is to make sure the Stadia team is aware of player's wants while also conveying to the game developer to port their game over to Stadia.
Hope this helps.
@Delta13 Understand. I'm sure developer agreements are discussed around the clock with the stadia team and their prospective suppliers.
I've suggested this through the stadia app feedback feature and will just say it here too, but the Stadia team should really consider adding a formal game voting/submission section to the app or this community. I'm sure it will muddy the water because it's more than just the desire to bring a game to the platform that gets it there, but it would help create a useable dataset for their team to see what's most wanted by their customer.
As a blanket statement, we're all seeing a lot of games released to the platform that are serving very niche user-bases. Heavy on the indie games, low on the big titles which are big for a reason.
Fortnite? No thank you. Stadia is already rich in games for kids..
