StadiaIcons Shortcuts 0.8 — Coming out of Beta! & Translation!

I skipped v0.7 because I don't like the number seven!I skipped v0.7 because I don't like the number seven!

Introduction

Hi there Stadia Community!

I don't usually post here (I'm mostly on Reddit), but since I'm taking StadiaIcons out of beta, it might be time to share the love a bit :grinning_face_with_big_eyes:

What is It?

StadiaIcons is a set of game icons designed with Stadia in mind. Each icon follows a simple design principle inspired by the Stadia logo and colors.

As for StadiaIcons Shortcuts, it allows you to easily add individual Stadia game shortcuts with their corresponding StadiaIcon to your devices in just a few clicks.

v0.8

What's New?

As usual, I've added new icons!

StadiaIcons Shortcuts is coming out of Beta!

Thanks to the help of Jedi#4759 (and a few others) over on the Stadia Discord, I've been able to transfer StadiaIcons Shortcuts over to a new platform (using Google's own Firebase), which means I'm now confident enough with the code and platform to take it out of Beta!

The system hasn't changed much, but it has been almost entirely recoded and should be quite a bit more stable. I have only tested it on Windows, have been told it works on ChromeOS, and suspect it's fine on Mac OS and Linux; Android on the other hand might be a bit of a challenge to get it working on.

IMPORTANT: For anyone who had previously installed StadiaIcons Shortcuts, they'll still work, but the old platform will no longer be updated. I recommend uninstalling them and reinstalling them on the new platform just in case.
As part of this update, I've also included translations. Currently, it should work in English :united_states:, French :france:, German :germany:, Dutch :netherlands: and Sweedish :sweden:.

Looking for Help Translating :folded_hands:

For anyone out there willing to give a hand translating this into other languages (or correcting the existing ones), I set up a guide for people who want to give a hand with this: Translation Guide

And of course, you can find a ton more details about the project over on GitHub, including a ton of info on how developers can use it for their own projects!
