I have to say I'm very disappointed after hearing the recent news about stadia I took a chance on this platform in favour of Xbox and the ps as I believed after subscribing that this platform was the future. However now I hear that I have wasted my money and all the people saying don't buy into it were correct as Google is now no longer going to be developing games just allowing publishers to use the platform to sell their own games to Google's streaming platform meaning subscription to each individual developer is more than likely.
Very disappointed
I still believe that this platform is the future, The point of Stadia is that you can play on any device, without installing updating, having space occupied and so on, I will probably not see the point to buy a new console when I can just buy the same game on Stadia and play the game without worrying anymore about the hardware that become obsolete...
Also the fact that google will not going anymore to develop games is just pure speculation, the only news is that Stadia Games & Enterteinment is closing in favor of more effort to third parties, but this doesn't mean that we don't see exclusive or games that will be created with the purpose of use the feature that are Stadia only (look at Hitman and the State share, or how Cyberpunk runs on Stadia) it just mean that the way Google is planning on the platform got... different!
Subscription to each individual developer will be a point only in case of some kind of extra subscriptions like Ubisoft+ (where you pay to have a lot of games from that company) but Stadia pro will continue to give games and I have no news is not planning to make you pay to play the game you buy on the platfom.
I still more than excited because since Stadia I'm able to play game that was requiring me to also obtian the hardware, and while it is a sad news to hear about SG&G closing I'm pretty sure I won't be disappointed by the service anytime soon.
