I already have a Stadia controller and a Chromecast Ultra which I use in on a 43inch LCD TV I purchase 7 years ago, it works fine and I use it in my bedroom so my wife and I can watch different media conveniently.
I've have just purchased a high end Sony Google TV for my living room for playing on PS5 when I can actually get one.
I would also like Stadia to function on my new TV without having to buy another Chromecast Ultra.
Can someone please please tell me if this is going to be a thing in the near future it would be brilliant so I don't feel down after spending so much on a new TV.
The TV is awesome but it would be even better if Stadia would work on it.
Hi @M1A9T7T9, according to Stadia's twitter page that will come in the first half of 2021. So hopefully it will come soon
Hello,
You could also sideload the Stadia-app onto your TV, I have done this with two separate Xiaomi TVs.
Here's the (german) tutorial I used to set it up.
Once set up it runs fairly good.

Sideloading works fine now, I used to find it super buggy but the latest add is really stable.
I can see the difference in quality though. I think it basically runs the mobile app which doesn't support 4k (as far as I'm aware)
