Been playing Stadia on my phone with PS4 controller and OTG for some months but today, as soon as I connected my controller, controller lights up but Stadia doesn't show the notification that a controller has been detected, still I'm able to navigate basics scroll up and down, but when I press buttons they don't work. I'm able to be moving through the site, even use the Touchpad of the controller, but Stadia doesn't recognize a controller at all. I haven't done anything different, I even restarted my controller.
Solved on my own, thanks Google for nothing, for Android users, if you start Stadia app, and when you plug controller through OTG, if it says "Headset connected" download Gamepad Tester (purple icon) from okay store, open it, click on add, press all the buttons from your controller and then click on save. Controller will know work inside Stadia games
@Isrben33 the only thing I can think of here is your OTG cable might be having an issue. Can you try with a regular USB cable? What about using Bluetooth?
Still not working? OTG ain't the problem, controller ain't problem, cable ain't problem... platform is the only thing wrong, because first of all it recognises the controller but does not work properly...I'm feeling that Google wants to force us to buy the Stadia controller
Okay so new day same thing all of a sudden none of my controllers work for my games but stadia recognizes the controller
( before @@nyone ask) I tried my backs up all 5 didn't work ..hope to fix the problem soon I just spent $54 dollars on humankind and have no hope of playing ... Guess I'll be
filling out for a refund
