Today was the first day I connected my Google stadia controller to my pixel 2xl. It ran fine all day and everything but my my phone crashed and it's never happened before and I'm hoping it's not related to the stadia and it didn't damage it. Has anybody else had similar issues?
@SpeerGaming How are you connecting the Stadia controller to the phone? As of now, you need the USB cable as it won't work by bluetooth.
If it shuts off, like completely power off, that might be an os update phone restart, or an issue worth grabbing warranty for.
But if it's just a phone software crash or app freeze and reset and phone ram memory reset, then it's about as harmless as a sneeze. Yeah it's a safety feature, and it's good thing it works, but it doesn't mean you were about to die every time you sneeze. It's mostly completely harmless. It's akin to the idea that your phone can calculate. But there is no calculation that breaks the ability of the phones calculative ability. And if there is, the phone will just reset back to default or normal state or previous state.
Unless it happens extremely frequently. In which case, you might be doing naughty things to your phone. So, if you continue to do naugty things, then ofcourse, it will continue to sneeze. Or reset. However, the day that it stops reseting. That is the day of doom. We've all heard the prophecies and the end times are coming. THE MIGHTY TALOS!!! .... I'm just kidding...
Software crash does not damage the hardware. My gaming pc has had endless game crashes and errors. And it still works like a super powerful and smooth gaming machine. Same with all my phones.
Just a complete phone shut off, like power off, forced shut off, that is a safety feature that is worth worrying about. A tiny little bit. Depending on how much you feel attached to your phone. Can always use a powerful circular saw attached to a 4k bhp airplane motor. That might soften the attachment a little bit.
