I'm having issues where in the evenings Stadia is too unplayably laggy in the evening, around 8-10 pm EST. I know this is the time where everyone is streaming and using bandwidth, but the issue is I'm on AT&T Fiber and when I go to speedtest.net, I'm still getting 10-12 ms ping and 800-900+ mbit symmetrical speeds to a test server here in Indianapolis. I know speedtest.net only gives me the speed to that server and not Stadia, but it's not as though I'm on shared bandwidth in my neighborhood/node on a cable modem and that's what's slowing me down. At this point, I don't know whether to blame Stadia or my ISP for this behavior. If I do the Stadia speedtest, I will get as low as 10mbit speeds, which makes me think this is something to do with Stadia and not AT&T (as much as I would love to blame them).
This is the best time for me to get some gaming in after my son goes to bed, but it's hit or miss for me to actually be able to play at this time. I've tried to play intermittently over the last 90 minutes and it's too laggy every time.
Any ideas on what I can do to troubleshoot this or get it fixed?
Same Feeling but in France
Same for me in Italy
same here, Italy...any news from some mod ?
I also want to point out that this never happened until Cyberpunk came out. I've played Red dead redemption for two months with no issues at all. This is annoying since I can only play in the evening after work.
Same for me in Italy!
Now i c'ant play because is lag !!!!!
Same at peek hours for me in Sweden, problem apeared after the launch of Cyberpunk.
Google probably sold more than what they have local capacity in some places. Maybe ISPs or netproviders can't keep up with all the traffic to the same datacenter realtime.
I understand that google can't dimension their capacity for everyone playing at once but some times (like at game launches/releases) almost all players want to play at the same time in the region and in those cases cloud gaming will fail.
@ChrisFromGoogle do you know where the problem is? I know there was an announcement about traffic being routed to datacenter further away but now it just seems we have an congestion getting to local datacenters at peek demand.
Is my ISP the problem, do you work on scaling up or count on the playerbase to drop off some time soon?
It happened to me on Saturday, the first time in 12 months, it has not happened again.
Spain.
Same for me in the UK though it's been every night for over two weeks now. Works completely fine in the mornings.
It will surely improve in 2021 when the algorithms end their holidays.
I could read in an interview that Stadia is working on 2023 after finishing all the work of 2021 and 2022 where about 400 games (350 indies) await us Stadia is only a reseller and does not take care of customer problems.
Ain't nobody on Stadia guys just Grace 24/7/365

sorry for necroing but..any news ?
Hi there, @DocSam,
Thanks for post. I'm sorry you are having this issue. I know how frustrating network errors can be. If you haven't already I'd recommend trying this general troubleshooter. If this isn't able to help you out its likely that this is either a network or an ISP issue.
Now, I do want to highlight that this is an old topic and you may not get as much traffic on your post. It would be best to create a new topic if you would like additional support from the community. With that said, I am going to go ahead and lock this conversation.
Thank you,
James
