Hey @Siej, I understand your frustration. I can see what you mean, that you had the impression that you'll get more games for Stadia Pro, because you saw a lot of games on their site. Unfortunately Google didn't said there that not all of these games are for free and that most of them have to be purchased.
You could have found though on one of the pages in the Google Store this nice picture which explains especially the difference between Stadia Pro and Stadia Base to get a better idea of the availability of games. Maybe Google should have put this one on the frontpage of Stadia, so that nobody gets confused. ![]()
I didnt understand like that. But still, do you think It is worth?

Yes, maybe they should have. But, again, when I preordered the founder's edition I didnt see that. Maybe my hype blinded me so hard ![]()
@Siej don't worry you're not alone I too got carried away too. But yes it would be nice to have a few more different genre games to really test the ability of the platform. I was hoping for grid to be included but hey ho.... I now have a very long Christmas list.
Nice new update from the Stadia Team: Farming Simulator 19 and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition are coming for Stadia Pro as free games:
"Our Stadia Pro lineup keeps on growing! Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and Farming Simulator 19 are both coming to Stadia Pro in December. Just log-in & redeem them at no additional charge with Stadia Pro.
Check out our blog for additional details → https://community.stadia.com/t5/Stadia-Community-Blog/New-Games-Coming-to-Stadia-Pro-in-December-201... "
That's pretty nice though ![]()
lol, the level of entitlement here.
@Siej
I agree with you 100%. The games they have provided are just crap. The service is crap too. They are doing the bare minimum to get away with money and not have to deliver good content.
Maybe scammed is a strong word but Google is definitely taking advantage of the situation and doing the bare minimum to make up for their issues. The worst thing is that a lot of this board and the sub are so pro Google they will take anything with a smile. Imagine being happy about getting Tomb Raider when they could've given us any of the sequels, Rage 2, Wolfenstein, maybe even Gylt or Grid
Google should communicate their plans with Destiny and give out the F2P version or make the Collection free. They need to improve and keep promises of 4l/60fps at high or better settings.
@Chufu Was this information there since day 1? I have to admit like OP I may have only listened to their marketing. I myself tought you got to keep Destiny 2 the Collection as they teased and hyped it up to be their main game, but in the end, it is just a rental. It doesn't even have a price to buy but I bet it is over 79.99 seeing how scummy their pricing is.
And the December games are **bleep**. The bare minimum or the **bleep**tiest games they could've given from their store.
@deprestige I can't believe this is a real reply here. I guess this **bleep** service is for people that like crap like you. You are making excuses for Google screweingpeople with their Stadia beta...oh but they delivered...They delivered **bleep** you seem to be very happy to own.
@Maaseru do you mean the information about Stadia Pro and Stadia Base? Yeah that was out from the beginning on, so since Stadia was available in the Google Store. It's a bit hidden though, because Stadia has 4 pages in the Google Store on the top, so maybe not everyone has seen all 4 pages and just saw the "Home" page (called "overview" in the Google Store).
@Chufu Then I guess I got fooled by their PR and lack of real information when they communicated to the public. I did not see the fine print until after. Still, Google can be expected to do a lot better with their service especially when it is not performing as advertised.
