Stadia Pro Free Game from Signup

Hi guys,

So, I'm a Stadia Founder and signed up for Pro but I'm not stoked about Samurai whatever and I already have Destiny 2 on other platforms. Am I able to not redeem my free game right away and wait until something worth it comes along? I'm also not talking about using the discount on a full price game, I mean a free game as it was advertised when I signed up. Thanks.

@SnackLord From my understanding, there's no quota to claim games included on Pro sub. So feel free to claim the games now, and you will still be able to claim whatever's offered in the future, as long as you keep subscribing to Pro.

The adverts for the founders edition indicated that you could claim any of the launch titles for free... I am a bit annoyed 1. got my box and opened it, no code yet so a large paperweight 2. after a code was received (24hr delay) i can not choose a game of my choice and instead i have 2 poxy games i have no interest in offered to me 3. Where is my buddy pass --- i was advised i would get a buddy pass for 3 months....

Same here - I preordered believing the majority of games would be 'free' on launch...you know like Live as advertised. So, so disappointed. 2 free games only and I've no interest in either. Stick Football Manager or RedDead in there and you've a boat load of happy Stadies. I'm giving it 24hrs ro see if the disappointment subsides before submitting a refund claim. Gutted. D

LIED to and not promised the content at launch Ok so what google stadia promised was that we would be able to play 12 games on launch day ! Ok I know they just increased it to 22 like 2 days before launch ok Only to find out you have to buy them ! But yet at the revile of google stadia back in March 2019 it says you can play these games day one with a stadia pro subscription so why do you have to buy them then if you were promised them in he stadia pro subscription ! ! So answer me this why the hell can I only play destiny 2 ! That's free anyway on all consoles and PC! And 1 game a month for £8.99 sorry bit of a rip off and that we wernt promised what was said ! We were told we could play this game that game in the stadia pro subscription ! Including assassins creed ! What's the point of stadia pro subscription ! only to stream the game in 4K that's what the stadia pro subscription is for ! This was falsely advertised and I've been robbed of my money ! Not worth the £120 sorry !

I think the with Stadia Pro subscription you got access to the service at launch and the ability to play the games. The free version isn't coming until next year. Therefore non-pro subscribers won't be able to access any of the games at launch

All of the advertising stuff and order details specifically listed Destiny 2 as the first free game, so Samurai Showdown is a bit extra. I don't think they'll offer you an alternative unfortunately. I can see why people are a bit disappointed in the opening lineup, but it's not like this type of thing hasn't happened before; where new consoles don't come with the best games straight away it takes time. I think the service will be brilliant and if you stick around you'll be glad.
