Hi
I find it a bit strange how Stadia handles the pro subscription.
Lately I was very busy and forgot to update my credit card in Stadia which the Pro account was linked to and the payment didn‘t go through. I did get an email saying that my Stadia Pro payment failed but nowhere did it say the amount of days or weeks I had to update and process the payment. So my Pro subscription got cancelled and with it all the Pro games I claimed and my progress.
I simply assumed it would be like 3-4 weeks as I was busy and forgot about it and wanted to update the CC/ payment this week but it‘s too late now. And it was only a week ago that the payment didn‘t go through.
Really frustrating that there‘s no warning of how many days there‘s left to update the payment if it failed or a second email warning that the payment still is due and should be completed „within the next 2 days or the Pro subscription will be cancelled“ or something like that.
Stadia is a Google company and some things do not match the parent company‘s standards. Let‘s not talk about a missing search function (which I had to solve by getting a browser extension).
That’s got to be frustrating for sure. The good news is that if/when you re-sub to Pro then all of the Pro games you previously claimed get reinstated and all of your saved games will be back exactly where you left them. Also, if you choose to buy a game you previously had on Pro (instead of re-subbing) then you will also have access to your previous progress in that game. Hope that helps.

Oh ok that‘s good then. Thanks for the info.
Because I read somewhere that when Pro subscription is cancelled one would lose all the progress.
Thanks for clarification
