It seems the Stadia App now works with more diveces. I can use it now to play games on my samsung tablet ![]()
I'm not sure what you mean. Currently only Pixel phones are supported to actually play games on and the app is only for setup and purchasing everywhere else.
I hope it will eventually work for allot of devices anyway, if not all of them right.
So far I tried huawei and lenovo which dont work, tho image, sound and latency is perfect, no control input detected, on many different wireless and wired controllers.
Pc, tv and pixel 2xl, does work. So far 4g is not allowed on phone, it works great, but not allowed unless you wifi hotspot. Currently.
I can now Start and Play Games directly in the App on my Samsung tablet . A day before it was not possible .
That's a shame. It's an awesome platform and can't stand seeing all the negative comments everywhere. Officially adding 3rd party device support now would add some much needed positivity in to the mix. People rooting devices or jumping through hoops is unnecessary when Google could easily throw us a bone.
Most of the hate comes from people that hate Google and/or cloud gaming dedicated platforms. Doesn't matter what they do with Stadia, plenty of those people will still hate it.
Absolutley. It's reasonable to assume most haters are trolls and haven't personally tried the platform. It's ridiculous honestly. Hate isn't limited to Google, Cloud gaming, or its supporters. If you merely say it performed well when you tied it, you better duck and cover. Watch Alanah Pearce's new Stadia YouTube video, then read the comments. Her speaking about having an enjoyable and quality gaming experience resulted in shill and liar comments. Back to my point though. It's definitely not worth rooting your device, because you can play Stadia on a 3rd party Android device without much effort. So why not just flip the official switch, so the majority can show off their new toy sooner not later. I personally think it will help.
