Spadia - unstable conection problem

Hi, since yesterday i can´t play any game on Stadia. It keeps telling me that my conection is too unstable to play. I thought it was an internet providers problem, but it is not.

I tried to speed check and it tells me that speed is great at my place 350mbps, at my gf place 100mbps. I tried 3 different laptops - always the same: "conection is too unstable" ... I tried wifi and cabel, rebooting router, entabling TCP/UDP ports 44700 to 44899 in firewall, tried run as administrator, enabling and disabling QoS ... No effect whatsoever ... still same problem.

Download, upload rates, streaming are flawless. No problem in any other aplication.

I´m from Czech republic. Is there problem with Stadia platform in Czech republic? :confused_face:

I would recommend here to try some steps from this article in the helpcenter, especially the network issues steps.

If those doesn't help, maybe the Stadia support can give you more ideas or more troubleshooting steps to try to fix that issue.

The quality of the stream from the Stadia datacenters is almost entirely dependent on the quality of your home network. If you are playing on wi-fi, your experience will almost always be worse than if you are using LAN. Additionally, there is often a lot of traffic on the standard 2.4GHz wi-fi band, so if you can switch to the 5GHz band, that may help with network stability.

 

Lastly, even if you have a good download and upload speed, if your network conditions are poor, you will be unable to play. Please make sure that your network is not losing packets as it is transferring information. There are tools you can find online to help determine whether you are losing packets or not.

Hello, I found out I no longer have unlimited data and cyberpunk eats data. I was wondering if you could recommend a internet service provider? Thanks

Thank you for replies!

I tried aplications to test packet loss - no problem. My ping is low as 8ms, i tried 2GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi and Ethernet cabel - still same problem "unstable conection". Tried updating Windows and all my drivers, even tried Linux (i have dual boot) and install there Google chrome  - no work. Still same on my place, gf place on any device, any laptop...What is wierd is that, i was using stadia for a while withnout ANY problem, i didnt get even  "unstable conection" warning while gaming.

Hi Chris I have the same problem as this user. No change in my home network, but can't generate a stream at all anymore. I was able to use 4k hdr all the time with no problem last week.

 

 

Had stadia cut back on their network resources?

Dude, what in the world is going on? This forum is filled with similar posts. Why is Stadia so unreliable for so many of us? Why does it fluctuate so much? You can only blame the ISPs for so long, someone other than Google is gonna figure this out, and that is not going to be good press for Google. You guys gotta start being honest about what's going on, you have to start providing a way to troubleshoot this stuff. Frankly these tools should have existed from the start, but I guess that's what happens when you rush a release instead of properly beta testing.

These complaints are only growing, when does Google plan on actually providing support?
