Some games are looking like as if they are in low graphics.

Hello,

since yesterday I have the 2 month trial of Stadia.

I already played Playerunknown's Battlegrounds and GRID racing.

When I start these games, it looks like they are in low graphics mode.

I have a 250 Mbp/s internet connection so it won't be the problem.

Is there any way to set the graphics to higher quality?

I play Stadia on my Windows-PC and tried it on my MacBook.

Have a nice day

Best regards

First thing you could check out is what your data usage is set to.

In the stadia mobile app, tap your player icon in the top right corner, then 'Data Usage & Performance'.

I have mine set to Best Visual Quality as I play on 4k screens.

Hello @RyudenPhoenix,

it is already set to the best quality.

Are you experiencing screen artifacts, blurriness, etc? Or are you thinking more in line with comparing stadia to other platforms visual quality, and wanting to change graphics settings/shadow quality/anti-aliasing for example to 'max'?

If its the latter, that's not an option with stadia. The former however, tends to point towards a connection quality issue, including internet, chrome extensions, etc. Which leads us to trying things like an incognito session, resetting chrome flags, removing extensions, etc.

Depending on your hardware there have been some that have noted forcing 4K on a 1080p session results in an improvement in visual fidelity. I'm not sure off hand if this was mostly those with 1440p/2K screens or not. So if you want to explore that route you can load up the Stadia+ extension and change its settings to force 4K.

And additionally, you can always peruse the reddit post for stadia troubleshooting.

Also never hurts to check what the stadia speed test reports, while these are subjective tests, it might highlight an issue with your path to stadia while other services on your provider are fine. Generally mine is all over the place on a 1Gbps Fiber connection, though here lately I've began  trending up to 500Mbps on this test in particular.

Hello,

sometimes the game looks blurry (it is like that the stream is loading) and I think that the visual quality is sometimes not really good.

I bought doom to play in 4k ultra settings. Watching videos of doom on ultra on YouTube look better than stadia. I'm convinced Stadia doesn't support ultra graphic settings, or even allow you to adjust them. My connection is 10ms 350mbps.

I returned doom and cancelled stadia. Might as well start saving to build a new PC instead.

I'm having the same problem. I'm playing Ghost Recon Breakpoint using a PC and the graphics on Geforce Now (free version) is so much better. In comparison on Stadia Pro its blurry and the view distance is much lower. I've also noticed that the game handles differently on both platforms but maybe that got something to do with the settings.
