Should I Get An Android?

I have had an iPhone since the 3G. But the lack of Stadia support is driving me crazy! I know that Apple blocked the ability to play games via the Stadia app. Are there plans to support it? Or should I just cave and get a Pixel? I currently have an 11 Pro Max and like it. But was quite annoyed that there was no USB C support with the 12. Just wondering the opinions of the community.

Pixel is a good phone.

I only used the iPhone 4 and that is about it. So no fair comparison here. I was a BlackBerry user until this year so ... Take my opinion with a grain of salt

There will be iPhone support sometime so if you enjoy your iPhones keep using them if you can wait. If not switch to a decent Android phone like the pixel. You will like it most likely.

For me the choice is easy Android. But then again I am waiting on the new Blackberry with a real keyboard to type on.

Try desktop only browser- I got it for iPhone and it works perfectly

I should make that a little clearer...it’s an app on the App Store called desktop only browser. Works like Stdaium did - I have both and find this one smoother.

I guess I would just say - don't get an "Android" - but rather - get the Google Pixel phone version that suits you best. Google Pixel is such a more flexible operating system that you can immediately tell the positive difference in the experience

Hi big Pete  I have to say using phone  with stadia  doesn't play a big part in my stadia experiance  I got huawei p20   and also Sony xz3 have to say it work better with Sony phone and if want to switch from apple to android of pixel   I say your better get pixel phone it just my opinion Google and also Microsoft go on about the great gaming experiance with telephone I think half hour is long enough on such small screen

Gonna agree here with @Goldie72, however if you have interest in gaming on a tiny screen then an Android device is going to give you much more flexibility. This goes for just about any experience, service, etc. than vs. an Apple device since they try to lock you into their ecosystem for everything. The latter is why I typically stay away from the big A's when it comes to devices (Apple or Amazon).

On iOS you can use the app « Stadium », it works!

It’s like playing via Chrome.  This is a full tutorial from Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Stadia/comments/j1ar15/use_stadia_on_ios_with_controller_support_easily/?ut...

@Dreller  The only problem is Apple removed Stadium from the App Store now so unless you already have it (I do) then you can’t get it anymore. The new one is Desktop Browser Only which is currently still available and doesn’t need the special setup process like Stadium did. No doubt Apple will remove this to in time....

Thanks for the info!  I didn’t know they removed it from the App Store.
