Return and Refund

Google has utterly failed at this roll out, letting down it's biggest advocates in the process. And through it all, our best hope has been a now shuttered customer support line and the odd canned response here or through Reddit, with nary an official, direct email in sight. I could have hung in there a bit longer if customer support wasn't so lacking but Google CLEARLY doesn't care about it's customers. I received my controller in the mail 11/19 at roughly 1130 PST. It's now nearly 1300 PST on 11/20 and no code, no direct message from Google to say "hey, we haven't forgotten about you" and no responses to A N Y of the messages I've posted across various websites (here, reddit, twitter). But people posting within the past hour that they've received a code (usually with no controller). I want to return my controller and receive a full refund. NOW.

@SqueakyRumble69 here's how you can return your Founder's Edition.

From the FAQ

If I return my Stadia Controller or Chromecast Ultra, will my subscription be cancelled? Will I be refunded for the Founder's Edition?
If you return all of the contents of the Founder’s Edition within 15 calendar days after the day you received it, your 3-month Stadia Pro subscription will be cancelled and you'll be refunded for your purchase. Returning the Founder's Edition also means you'll lose access to the games you claimed as a Pro subscriber, your Founder's Stadia Name will revert to a standard Stadia Name, and your Founder's Badge will be removed. If the Buddy Pass included with your Founder's Edition has not been redeemed at the time of your return, the Buddy Pass and 3-month Stadia Pro subscription will be voided. If the Buddy Pass has been redeemed at the time of your return, the included three-month Stadia Pro subscription will be cancelled and the redeemer will lose their Stadia Pro benefits.

And here's more specific instruction. When I opened this, it automatically shows for US and Canada, but you might get something different. The idea should be the same though.

Returning mine to for all the same reasons.

 

Google have failed us by not communicating correctly.

The crazy thing is, returns email with label to return came in minutes, code to play game.. still waiting days... If only Google had a few months before release to iron out issues.... oh wait...

OoOo scary, I'll lose the name I was never able to claim and the games I was never able to play. No worries, XBox has me covered.
