When will stadia support ultra wide screens?
@Ronaldo There's no official info regarding that yet. I have an ultrawide monitor, so I really want to see this too. Make sure to send Feedback from the Stadia app to make sure Google is aware of it. The more feedback they get regarding this subject, the better chance it's being implemented.
Exactly... People who play computer games usualy have 21:9 screens.. And most of those games even support such resolution, just Stadia not... Real failure imo..
So google isn't going to respond to over a year.long post? I'm thinking of cancelling me and my son's stadia accounts just for the lack of support and ignoring the community.
Same here, 3440 x 1440. Joined Stadia to see if I could play Cyberpunk this way without having to upgrade my videocard. With the prices of one new generation cards, I could be on Stadia for years.
Unfortunately, since it only seems possible to play at 1080p on Stadia if you have widescreen, this won't be happening ![]()
Was really hoping for 5120 x 1440 as well but it isn't a deal breaker. I mean CCU + controller included with Cyberpunk 2077. But I would really like to see it still. Mainly went with Stadia because it's impossible to get any graphics card (I am not going to sleep on F5 :P)
Bought Stadia and this was the first major problem i bumped into. Please fix this quickly. I don't want to see major black boxes left and right of my screen of my ultra-wide screen (3440x1440 resolution)
Google must have had changing resolutions in mind. Consoles are exempt from this problem because they are built on the hardware available at the time but stadia needs to evolve with the technology available over the years.
Resolutions change, aspect ratios change, I don't think Google can avoid addressing this so I fully expect support for dynamic resolution at some point in the future. 21:9 is currently the ratio of choice, but tomorrow it might be something else. Dynamic resolution support is a big win to evolve with the times, which is what you would expect with a cloud based gaming platform.
In the same boat here. Loving Stadia and Cyberpunk, but no support for 3440*1440 means I can only enjoy this beautiful game on my TV. Would love to at least see a higher res on my 21*9 display (with pro subscription) even if it was letterboxed. The blurriness of 1080p on these ultrawides is terrible.
Same question here. I’m using a LG 21:9 and would be a great thing have this option. Please Google, yes you can!
Would also need this! 5120x1440 (32:9) here. Still less bandwidth than 4k
Chining in on this. Canceling my membership until something is done about this. By then Cyberpunk will probably be good.
I need 3.440 x 1.440. It's time google, it's time...
Please add support for Ultrawides!

I really think that both 3440x1440 and 2560x1080 should be supported... People have such displays for long time. I have screens as such - one for personal and the lower for work computer.
Still waiting for 2560x1080 ultrawide support before I begin with Cyberpunk.
please add support Ultrawide!
I keep checking back every couple weeks or so. It’s insane to me that a huge selling point of Stadia is the hypothetical “insane” computational abilities of the platform… and yet the settings menu in-game is almost ALWAYS extremely limited. Where is the Ultrawide support? Why is this not a huge win for Stadia for them to implement?
Dear Stadia Team,
please add support for super wide screens like 5120x1440 (32:9).
Brak 21:9 to dramat
Trzeba anulować subskrybcję, to nie ma sensu..
Please add support for Ultrawide resolutions! It's a good opportunity to beat the likes of NVidia and Xbox to supporting it...
@Stan Stadia, please? Could you add the 3440x1440 resolution?
+1Stadia, please? Could you add the 3440x1440 resolution?
It is not fair... There is a lot of people now in this days that using Ultra wide monitors.. How that big comapny like Google and Stadia cant do it for costumers? I think there is no sense to buy games on Stadia becouse od this. Very sad...
Hope soon!
Why is this even an issue in 2021. Google wants to be part of the gaming market....kind of? Games support ultrawide monitors, so why can stadia not handle it, I notice that intro screens, etc. take up my full monitor but the game itself is restricted to what I presume to be 1920x1080...no matter what it is, it's a far cry from my full monitor and absolutely makes me loath Stadia and not want to play anything on it at all.
Seriously, get with the times...this should be a none issue by now.
gief widescreens support please !
til then I will just buy a TV !
on TV(s) I saw that there's no problems with the screen size ![]()
I've just come across this hurdle... My monitor displays full using a Chromecast Ultra but when playing through my PC it does not? Surely there must be a fix or workaround?
