I don't think these are ray traced reflections.

Probably just the "old fashioned" way of adding reflections in games, which still looks good IMO.

@Whito how good is Watchdogs Legion? I’m wondering whether to buy this or the expansion for Destiny 2....or maybe both!

Hey Matt!!!

It is the first game I see with ray tracing on Stadia but it has a lot of frame drops, I would only buy it if you want to see ray tracing or if you played the other watch dogs, I would not buy the season pass at the moment.

London is fantastically recreated.

Buy it if you can't wait for cyberpunk.

Thanks @Whito. And is the game play also good? Quite a few games at the moment I want to buy....Stadia library is starting to look good!

@Matt1

If it weren't for the frame drops, it's a very good game.

First the mixture of London with those buildings of the middle ages contrasting with the futuristic technology gives a great contrast to the environment.

The line is a mix of James Bond, V for Vendetta and the current state of society with Orwellian touches...so it is immersive.

The gameplay has improved a lot with respect to the previous ones, giving more action to firearms and melee combat with grabs and dodges.

You have more gadgets for attack, stealth and even to access hidden loot using various devices to access a place with puzzles and mazes.

You have agents with unique abilities (you have a hypnotizing magician) my favorite.

Overall it's a good game, and waiting for the multiplayer, if it's like Watch Dogs 2 it'll be entertaining with all these different skills. The library grows, for now Sekiro and Destiny will buy them in 2021.

Cyberpunk and Valhalla take precedence right now.

Only needs best performance by Ubisoft side... maybe in two weeks they fix the game...idk.

Just a question. How do you see it has ray tracing? Can you switch it on and off to see the difference? And simply said, what does it mean?

Roses are red, Gaming is fun. You are carrying too much, to be able to run!

@MisterMarcoo

Ray Tracing are lights and reflections in real time.

The incidence of light in general, this affects how the world looks, colors ... etc.

For example ... if a streetlight illuminates a tree with dry leaves, it will bounce all the light and create a brown effect around it.

Where else you will notice it is in puddles of water, glass, mirrors, clothes, rain, shadows, etc ...

It cannot be turned on or off.

Compare with PC.

It seems to be a combination of Cubemapping and ScreenSpace Reflections for now.

Perhaps when the hardware accelerated RayTracing is pushed to the Vulkan API for STADIA, Ubisoft could update it?
