So I’m playing destiny 2 and in order to open the directory you have to press and hold the touchpad button on the controller and when I do nothing happens. How can I fix this? And no all of my controllers are having the same issue so it’s not a hardware issue.
Hey I tested this and the touchpad icon is wrong/bug, I think they changed it for stadia but forgot to change the icon for the stadia version of destiny 2. You have to press and hold the share button. Then you'll see the open directory icon filling up, as if you are using the touchpad. It's probably a small visual bug.
@Micsquiggle I do have a PS4 controller, but I'm unable to test right now. I can try testing tomorrow if you haven't found a solution, but before then, can you let me know which controllers you have tried so far? Do you have the dual shock 4 and have you tried with that? Apologies for the obvious question, but just want to check whether you've been using official or 3rd party ps4 controllers (since currently only dual shock 4 is officially supported).
I tried 3 DualShock 4 controllers and all of them had the same problem and seems to only happen on my phone which is my primary gaming device as of right now.
Hi @Micsquiggle, can you tell me more about the device you are playing on? What type of phone is it, and is the operating system up-to-date?
Thanks for the update, @TwinkleStar! I'll be marking your response as a Best Response so that others may see it.
@Ivan @Yes I’ve tried three DualShock 4’s and the touchpad button does not work.
