Hi Stadia, just wanted to let you know that many games are not fully playable on my 32" TV because I can't change how its overscan works. As a consequence, many UI elements (menu, buttons, infos) are often cropped and out of sight. It would be great if more and more games - like the excellent Mafia III, for example - would add this option to let players resize the UI area and better fit their screen. Hope you can make developers aware of this problem, grazie!
@Marchino this happens to me too because I have an old plasma TV and must agree it's a bit annoying. Any chance your TV allow you to change the boundary of the screen? If yes you should try that. There might also be some games that let you set screen boundary in game, in which case you should also try that option.
Ciao @Ivan, thanx for your reply! Unfortunately my TV doesn't allow that level of control: it's not a new model, but it works so well (low lag, great colour, decent audio) that I wasn't planning to dismiss it just because some games won't allow me to do what others do. My hope is that Stadia begins asking developers to consider the introduction of that option more and more frequently, since - as far as I know - the availability of that overscan menu on our TVs is not a "requirement" to use the platform (yet!).
