Problem with the Stadia App

Hi everybody, I received my code 30 minutes ago, I started the registration process on the app. After I click proceed (idk if it is the right word, I use the Italian version) there is an infinite loading screen. Does someone have suggestions or tips? I use the app's latest version on a Pixel 2XL. The loading screen: https://imgur.com/dISkqHt Thanks for the help!

@IlMollo  I got it to work!  I had to use a different phone.  Annoying because I had to set up my account on my husband's phone and install the app but payment worked immediately on his phone.  Then when I went back to my phone, cleared data on the Stadia app and logged in again, it was ready to go.  Hope this works for you!

That's where it asked me to put a payment method on file to activate Pro (that it won't charge for 3 months). It sync'd with my Google Pay acct/family payment method. Took mine a while to do it though. Do you have Google Pay set up? Maybe it is trying to sync a payment system and can't find one.

I've update the Google Pay App, the problem persisted. Just two days ago I paid the Founder Edition with the same method.

@IlMollo Try clearing your storage/cache of the app, force stop, and launch the app again. I know this sounds standard, but sometimes this little tricks help. Also make sure you're on stable internet connection.

I've tried to cancel the cache and storage. The problem is still there.

I'm on a 1 Gb connection, I hope that is fast enough for a registration! :beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I'm having the same problem.  I've cleared cache, data, forced stop. I have payment methods set up with google which I used as recently as yesterday. Infinitely spinning circles...

I really don't know how to proceed. Can it be a country related problem? I'm from Italy, maybe there are some issues with that?

I'm in the US.  I will say that at Google's payment screens on other apps (like Movies/Books), it occasionally takes longer than I'd expect...but never this long!

I just tried removing an extra payment method I had saved but it didn't seem to help.

Yeah, I've tried to run the app for over 20 minutes, nothing happened. I'll try again tomorrow morning. I'll update the situation on this thread too.
