Hi everyone,
So I found this major game-breaking bug in Ark - survival evolved today. I wanted to join a server I made elsewhere, so I change the Session Filter to 'Unofficial' and instantly the game crashes.
Stadia prompts the following message;
"Error, Failed to start the game session".
When I select "OK" another message is prompted;
"Reopen game, Uh-oh. The game had a glitch. Please reopen the game to keep playing." ... ![]()
I shrugged and thinking 'Ah that can happen' I closed the error messages and started Ark again. It loads into the main menu, but now whenever I select 'Join Ark' the game crashes immediately.
I don't know if the server list is too large to load or there is something else wonky going on that makes the game crash. I tried the same thing with another account and as soon as you change the session filter to 'unofficial' you are locked out (forever?).
What can I do so that I can see the servers again? I'm feeling very 'stranded and lost' without Ark working
Thanks!
O got the same
i'll reply with what everyone here does.... " contact the devs " lol
Been trying to contact them all day lol
Having the same problems since round 11 AM Est. I was in a nitrado server I made playing nd the game froze. I sat for 19 mins, cause it's ARK, but nothing. When I restarted the game same issue. I posted on reddit how to start your own server for Stadia version and have gotten hate for it because people were worried this could happen. I doubt it but just throwing ish at the wall to see what sticks as the cause for this.
The people of Reddit are retarded yet they think they are better than any other platform lol. They are the biggest conspires
Just when i was getting my feet wet. They go and mess something up. ![]()
I am experiencing this same problem when trying to return to a solo game on it. I go through the main game menu pick my map and it starts to load then bam - error failed to load game session. then a pop up about a game glitch. No real answers and support is a run around from what I can tell. It's frustrating.
