@DonTonyDeluca : Just business economics, supply and demand. New environment is available, lots of demand. The publishers know that there is money to be made and they want to recoup some of their investment costs in Stadia, end result prices can be higher.
Google don't set the prices for the games (or so it has been said), although I suspect that Google has some financial arrangement with the publishers so it could be that the pricing is still influenced to a degree by Google's charges (no proof of this though).
So, for the time being at least I don't see that this is going to change too much considering how new Stadia is, perhaps later on in 2020 we will see parity in prices...perhaps.
I'm holding off on buying any Ubisoft games until UPLAY+ is released on Stadia as I think that that might be a more cost effective way of playing Ubisoft titles on Stadia, and I don't always rush to get the latest game releases anymore.
But it is a shame that the Steam seasonal discounts are hammering the prices on Stadia in a big way (GRID Ultimate Edition about the only title that jumped out as being cheaper than Steam currently, and only by a couple of £'s lol).
If you havent played it before just hurry and buy it, if you like shooter games and a good story, same time a big online world. Rdr2 is the best game on stadia. Price is not bad compared to rage 2 that is just a thiny repetitive game when one compare this two.
Since it’s discounted on consoles i think Rockstar should give discounts on stadia, same with rage 2, that game cost a fortune and it is also on januar sale around. I get they want to earn more money making it ready for a new platform, but the result is that they sell less and earn less on stadia.
